On the Death of Bellini (1835)

Never heard live in America before, the requiem - long overshadowed by Verdi's - has nevertheless been recorded by two legendary tenors, Nicolai Gedda and Luciano Pavarotti." Conducted by Johannes Somary. The performance is in the beautiful church of St. Jean Baptiste on Lexington Avenue at E. 76th Street in Manhattan. Click here to order tickets in advance.
