An inventive program of orchestral music with One World Symphony at Ansche Chesed Synagogue (251 West 100th Street at West End Avenue, Manhattan, New York City). This one is called "Rhapsody," and features an eclectic mix of great works for orchestra. The soloists are pianist Christopher Johnson, soprano Amberleigh Aller, mezzo-soprano Nina Lorcini, and the vocal group The Fault Line. Works by Rachmaninoff, Brahms, Donizetti, Queen (that's right - the British rockers, in a symphonic version), etc. conducted by Sung Jin Hong. For info and tickets check the orchestra's website here. We're performing this twice; see below for the other date and location.

I'll be the trumpet soloist at St. Patrick's Cathedral, located on Fifth Avenue between 50th and 51st Streets in New York City. This is a special Mass celebrated by Cardinal Egan, part of the Cathedral's 200th Anniversary celebration. The Mass is honoring all the religious orders of the Archdiocese of New York.
