Haydn & Mozart - I'm playing in "Sinfonia Celestis" - an excellent chamber orchestra and choir conducted by Jeffrey Hoffman. The program includes Haydn's Saint Theresa Mass, Mozart's complete "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik" and Haydn's Organ Concerto, played on the wonderful Casavant organ at Christ The Redeemer Episcopal Church in Pelham, NY (1415 Pelhamdale Ave). The concert, programmed in honor of the bicentennial of the Austrian composer (Franz) Joseph Haydn's death (May 31, 1809), will feature soloists Anneliese von Goerken, soprano; Tracy Bidleman, mezzo-soprano; Jerrod Sanders, tenor; Simon Cram, bass-baritone and Neal Campbell, organ.
Tickets are a $20 per person at the concert office. A reception will follow the performance.
