A 30-minute "mini-concert" featuring my friends Thomas Jostlein, Tricia Jostlein, my spouse Angela Gosse, and me. I'll be playing both trumpet and organ. The concert is in Brooklyn at Sacred Hearts & St. Stephen Church. Sacred Hearts was the 1st Italian parish in Brooklyn; this program is an "Advent Concert" celebrating the church's 125th anniversary, and will include music honoring the church's Italian heritage, and festive music to usher in the Christmas season. Thomas is the Assistant Principal Horn of the New York Philharmonic, Tricia was formerly Principal Horn in the Omaha Symphony, Angela has performed with New World Symphony in Miami, so this is a really good group. We'll be playing quartets, solos, etc. The old Kilgen Pipe Organ (31 ranks, over 2,000 pipes!) will have a thorough demonstration, too. Free admission. Corner of Summit & Hicks Streets, Brooklyn New York.
